We are looking for a detail driven Finishing Manager who is looking for a new opportunity to join a well-respected Regional Contractor.
About the role of the Finishing Manager
You\βll be working for a recognised Regional Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high quality projects across commercial, new build, refurbishments and education sectors. They have a secure pipeline of work and are looking to expand their team.
As the finishing manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all internal and finishing works are completed to the highest standards, on time and in line with project specification and play a critical role in the final stages of delivery to achieve defect free handovers across a variety of projects.
Responsibilities for Finishing Manager
- Manage and coordinate all internal finishes from first fix to handover
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail across all finishing elements
- Liaise with subcontractors, site teams and project managers to drive progress and resolve any issues
- Conduct quality inspections and manage snagging lists
Requirements for Finishing Manager
- Previous experience as a finishing manager for a main contractor
- Strong eye for detail and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate subcontractors and trades
- SMSTS, CSCS and 1st Aid
