What you'll do:
- Manage the trade contractors including the production of working drawings, procurement and prefabrication and performance on site.
- Oversee subcontractors, labour and material requirements for the contract and support Project Managers with matters primarily relating to on and off-site activities.
- Coordinate and manage trades on site with regard to both build trades and MEP trades.
- Solve site problems when they occur, providing feedback to Project Managers on any defects or defaults found and put forward any innovative ideas to alter current methodology.
- Understand the design process, and work with the design manager, within cost restraints, to facilitate the design, and coordination of production information, to suit site requirements and conditions.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in major commercial building projects.
- Previous experience of managing multiple trade contractors.
- Prior experience managing internal packages or facades would be preferred.
- Previous experience of facilitating collaborative planning and coordination sessions between trade contractors.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
