Fawkes & Reece is recruiting for a tier one contractor who are market leaders in the education new build industry. They have been in the industry for a long time and are a certified main contractor who are currently recruiting for a Logistics Manager to work for 12 months minimum on their latest venture in Essex. Starting ASAP.
The project is well underway and runs until September 2027, its worth £70m in total and the scope includes demolishing existing school blocks and rebuilding the new ones in a live environment. As imagined the blocks are phased and will take place one by one. Heading up by a Senior Project Manager who you will report to.
Responsibilities:- Managing all site logistics across multiple phases
- Overseeing subcontractor interfaces to maintain programme flow
- Ensuring strict site access, security and compliance procedures are followed
- Manage vehicle movements and site access to ensure safety and efficiency
- Work closely with the Site Management team to plan ahead and ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, waste removal, and on-site stock
- Enforce site rules and health & safety procedures at all times
The ideal candidate will have circa 5 years experience as a Logistics Manager working with a main contractor, they must live within a 45 Minute drive to Essex and have worked on a project for the DFe.
