The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are working with a RC Frame and Groundworks contractor operating across the South East, and we are looking to strengthen our planning team with the appointment of an Assistant Planner / Intermediate Planner based out of West Sussex.

The Role

  • Assisting in the production and maintenance of construction programmes
  • Supporting tender and live project planning activities
  • Progress updates, short-term planning and reporting
  • Liaising with site teams, engineers, and commercial staff
  • Helping identify risks, opportunities, and programme constraints

About You

We are open-minded on background and experience. You may be:

  • An Assistant or Intermediate Planner with some exposure to RC Frame and/or Groundworks projects
  • A Site Engineer or similar site-based professional looking to transition into a planning role

Previous experience within the RC Frame and Groundworks sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Key Requirements

  • A positive, proactive attitude and strong willingness to learn
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • An interest in planning and project controls
  • Experience with planning software such as Asta Powerproject and/or Primavera P6 (preferred but not essential)
  • Understanding of construction processes and sequencing
