We’re hiring for multiple Freelance Fitout Site Managers for our client based in Castleford. The managers will be overseeing leading supermarket fitout projects across the Northwest/Yorkshire and nationwide. Projects typically run 4 to 5 weeks in length before moving on to another project. Accommodation and fuel expenses are paid.
Job responsibilities of the Freelance Fitout Site Manager:
- Manage supermarket fitout projects - working with leading UK supermarkets
- Ensure projects are on-time and to client specification
- Report directly to the Project Manager and liaise with head office
- Manage contractors and subcontractors on-site daily
- Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
- Flexible with which projects you take
Required Qualifications/Experience for the Freelance Site Manager:
- Experience working within supermarket fitout
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Site Manager's position
- UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Must be willing to travel
- Day rate: £275 - £290 a day
- Accommodation paid
- Flexible with which projects you take, days or nights etc.
- Weekly pay on a Friday
