My client is a Leading, privately owned Civil Engineering Contractor. They have been delivering civils works at Gatwick Airport for several years and currently have a large groundworks package to support the construction of a large hangar. In addition, they have also been awarded another contract to install multiple EV charging points. They have tenders underway in the airport valued at circa £45m and are looking for a Design Engineer or Design Manager to join their existing project team. This is an urgent position, and the company would consider applications from those seeking either permanent or freelance opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or another relevant subject matter (ideally)
- Experience of working on Civil Engineering Projects
- Ideally 5-7 years of dedicated Construction Industry experience.
- Prepared to work on site 4 days a week at Gatwick
- Wide-ranging understanding and working knowledge of construction methods and outputs and can coach others. Those with detailed civils project experience would be at an advantage.
- Will have both substantial construction and design experience.
