We are currently seeking an experienced Drylining Manager to join a well-established contractor on a commercial construction project in the Great Yarmouth area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manager with a strong background in drylining, partitions, suspended ceilings, and internal fit-out works. You'll be working alongside an existing Site Manager, helping to oversee the day-to-day delivery of the drylining package and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate drylining subcontractors on site
- Oversee installation of partitions, suspended ceilings, and associated internal works
- Monitor quality, productivity, and programme performance
- Conduct site inspections and ensure health & safety compliance
- Liaise with the Project Manager, Site Management team, and subcontractors
- Assist with QA, snagging, and project handover activities
- Ensure materials, labour, and resources are effectively managed
Requirements
- Proven experience managing drylining packages on commercial, education, or fit-out projects
- Strong knowledge of partitions, ceilings, SFS, and internal finishes
- Ability to coordinate subcontractors and maintain programme deadlines
- SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
- CSCS Card
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
