An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital Construction Manager to join a reputable Tier 1 Main Contractor. The BIM Manager will be working on a £100m+ refurbishment scheme in Central London. As the most competent member of the project team, with regards to application of BIM and Digital Construction, the individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project digital construction strategy and ensuring information management consistency in accordance with group standards.
As a business, they have a network of offices with a group turnover in excess of £2 Billion. With a great reputation in the market, they are known for working with premier blue-chip clients, and with the bulk of their work being repeat business, they have a great success rate.
Key Accountabilities:- Work with the project team to ensure systems (inc CDE), processes, and procedures are established correctly to ensure effective information management (graphical and non-graphical) across the project.
- Promote and support cultural change and upskilling across the wider region and project teams around improved collaborative working, information management exchange, and driving improved BIM maturity and adoption across projects.
- Provide training to the project teams (maintain a training log) and supply chain members in the use of all the project information management systems and tools, including upskilling understanding of the associated protocols and procedures.
- Interface with clients to influence, educate, and promote the benefits of BIM and, when required, be the external face of BIM for the Region in both Client and external events.
- Generate project communications on updates to information management standards, procedures, and systems.
- Good 3D technical proficiency producing models with Revit or equivalent.
- Excellent clash detection experience using Navisworks Management and BIMCollab or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years' experience implementing BIM.
- Worked on projects of a similar value.
- Delivery of an asset information model.
