A leading regional contractor based in Bristol is seeking an experienced construction Document Controller to join their business. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the South West’s most prominent construction businesses with a fantastic reputation as a leading reputable contractor. This Document Controller role will play a key part amongst both the site and design team, reporting directly to the Design Director based in their head office five days a week.
About the role of Document Controller
This regional contractor traditionally specialises in high spec projects, including education, healthcare & industrial new builds, refurbishments & extensions valuing up to £20M on a regional basis for private and framework clients. The role of Document Controller is a permanent requirement with further works in the area.
Responsibilities for Document Controller
- Responsible for overseeing all project documentation and ensuring it is filed correctly in line with company protocol
- Assist both client and stakeholders with relevant systems training as and when required
- Continuous maintenance and management of systems throughout the duration of the projects
Requirements for Document Controller
- Previous experience using Pro-Core or Viewpoint is required
- Relevant experience working on similar scale projects within the construction industry
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
