Are you an experienced Assistant Site Manager looking for a new challenge and opportunity for career progression? We have a new role with a leading 5* Housing Developer that will see you join an award-winning team!

You will be working with a leading house builder alongside a team on development near Littlehampton. They have numerous awards in the housing sector and pride themselves on quality, specialising in new build affordable and spec housing developments. This role will see you assisting the Site Manager in ensuring that the construction of the developments proceeds in line with the programme and within budgeted costs, playing a big part in the day-to-day responsibilities of the site operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the management of work activities and trade subcontractors on site, safety and quality.
  • Management and coordination of sub-contract trades.
  • Ensuring all work carried out by sub-contractors is to the standard agreed, specification and all relevant construction standards including NHBC.
  • Ensuring company standards are followed for health and safety.
  • Coordination and progress meetings, actively engage and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • When the Site Manager is not present you will have overall responsibility for the site.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as an Assistant Site Manager or Supervisory Role within the residential sector, ideally multi volume housing sites.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages and Asta.
  • CSCS, 1st Aid and SMSTS.
  • Detailed knowledge of building processes including NHBC and Building Regulations.
