Accounts Assistant – Part time – 24 hours per week We are looking for an organised and dedicated individual to join an existing Accounting team, fulfilling the role of Accountants Assistant /Finance Administrator. The role will cover a range of tasks including payroll, managing payments, as well as some HR related duties (employment letters, site absence/holiday, timesheets etc). Skills/Experience required:Accounting software experienceStrong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc)Strong organisational skillsAbility to prioritise and meet deadlinesAbility to manage own workload and also work well within a teamGood interpersonal skillsGood at problem solvingOrganisational skillsGood telephone manner (training will be given on the phone system) Duties would include:Managing all aspects of monthly company payroll and pension schemeManaging all aspects of sub contractors invoices and CISManaging and processing all outgoing payments including ad hoc requestsManaging all payment runs for suppliers and subcontractors to deadlinesApproving and processing subcontractor invoicesPerforming regular bank reconciliationsPaying all utility bills in a timely mannerProcessing clocking in data and timesheets to build timesheets for each hourly paidemployee.
