This Site Engineer role offers a strong day rate, weekly pay, and the chance to work on a large-scale new housing development.

About the role of Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer, you will be supporting the delivery of groundworks on a new housing project, taking responsibility for setting out, quality assurance, and coordination of subcontractors on site. This is a long-term temporary role, expected to run for approximately 12-18 months, with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities for Site Engineer:

  • Carrying out accurate setting out using GPS, Total Station, and levelling equipment
  • Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme
  • Interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Maintaining quality control and keeping accurate site records

Requirements for Site Engineer:

  • 3+ years experience working as a Site Engineer on groundworks or residential projects
  • Strong setting out experience with relevant surveying equipment
  • CSCS card and relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
  • Good understanding of health and safety regulations
