Our client delivers high-quality design, installation, and maintenance of MEP services to commercial and industrial clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Permanent Junior Electrical Estimator to join their expanding estimating team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual looking to further develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to produce tenders for projects ranging from £100k to £10 million across South Wales and beyond. This is an office-based position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical installations on projects valued between £100k and £10M.
- Use estimating and pricing software to generate detailed and competitive costings.
- Analyse electrical drawings, specifications, and project briefs to determine materials, labour, and associated costs.
- Review electrical requirements across residential, commercial, and industrial building plans.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate competitive pricing, and compile detailed cost breakdowns.
- Maintain and update a cost database to support efficient future estimations.
