Fawkes & Reece are currently working with a Tier 1 construction client who is looking to recruit a permanent Buyer to join their team based near Cookstown, Northern Ireland. About the Company
Our client specialises in the construction of student accommodation, retirement living developments, and hotels. A significant proportion of their projects involve reinforced concrete (RC) frameworks, offering exposure to technically complex and large-scale builds.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing procurement of materials and plant for construction projects
- Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to achieve best value
- Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project deadlines
- Monitoring costs and supporting budget control
- Working closely with project teams to understand procurement needs
- Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation
Requirements
