About the role of Site Engineer
As a Site Engineer, you will be supporting the delivery of a civils project, taking responsibility for setting out, quality assurance, and coordination of subcontractors on site. The project is expected to run for approximately 6-8 months and involves typical civils works within a structured project team environment.
Responsibilities for Site Engineer:
- Carrying out accurate setting out using GPS, Total Station, and levelling equipment
- Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications
- Maintaining quality control and keeping accurate site records
Requirements for Site Engineer:
- 3+ years experience working as a Site Engineer on civils projects
- Strong setting out experience with relevant surveying equipment
- CSCS card and relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
