About Favoured
Favoured is a digital marketing agency that helps brands grow through data-driven strategies and innovative thinking. We are looking for a Conversion Specialist who can turn insights into action and drive measurable results for our clients.
The Role
We are seeking a Conversion Specialist to join our team and own the performance of our clients' digital ecosystems. You will be the strategic mind behind conversion rate optimisation, identifying gaps, building new strategies, and executing campaigns that move the needle. This is a hands-on role where you will blend strategic thinking with practical execution—and work directly with clients to make it happen.
What You'll Do
- You will develop and implement conversion strategies across app and ecommerce products, spotting opportunities others miss and turning them into revenue. This means proactively monitoring performance, reporting on what’s working (and what isn’t), and continuously optimising to improve results.
- You will be deeply embedded in the tech stack - not just using the tools, but truly understanding how they work together. You will guide clients through setting up tracking events, configuring platforms, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring their infrastructure supports the strategies you’re building.
- You will regularly analyse user behaviour across various analytics tools to identify gaps and opportunities - not just for middle-of-funnel optimisation, but also to help refine the top-of-funnel team’s approach, targeting, and messaging.
- You will write, design and build campaigns and automations including emails, push notifications, and other customer communications that convert - combining compelling copy with strategic timing and audience segmentation.
- You will work within platforms like Klaviyo, Dotdigital, Customer.io, Google Analytics, HunSpot, Mixpanel, Shopify, and others, getting your hands dirty with the configuration and optimisation that makes campaigns work.
- You will be expected to innovate, test new approaches, and challenge the status quo when you see a better way forward.
- This is a client-facing role, so you will present strategies, walk through performance reports, train client teams on their tech stack, and collaborate directly with them to align on priorities and execution.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in conversion rate optimisation for app and ecommerce products.
- Strong technical expertise with marketing and analytics platforms, you can set up events, configure tracking, build automations, and troubleshoot when things break.
- Experience guiding clients through technical implementation and providing ongoing platform support.
- Demonstrated ability to write effective customer communications that drive action.
- A proactive mindset - you don’t wait to be told there’s a problem; you find it and fix it.
- Comfort using AI tools to enhance efficiency, ideation, and creative output.
- Strategic thinking combined with hands-on technical execution skills.
- Confidence presenting to and advising clients, including training them on platform capabilities.
- A track record of identifying gaps in strategy and technical setup, then filling them with measurable results.
- Understanding of how top-of-funnel acquisition impacts mid-funnel performance and audience quality.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with media buying and strategy teams.
- Deep analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns in user behaviour and translate them into actionable insights across the funnel.
- Curiosity and a hunger to test, learn, and innovate.
Why Favoured
This is a fully remote role, giving you the flexibility to work from wherever you’re most productive. You will work with ambitious clients, tackle varied challenges, and have the autonomy to shape how we approach conversion optimisation. As an Employee Owned Trust (EOT), everyone here has a genuine stake in our success. When the company does well, we all benefit. We also believe in proper time off, which is why we offer 32 days holiday. If you’re someone who thrives on performance data, loves the technical side of marketing platforms, and wants to work somewhere your ideas actually get implemented, let’s talk.
