Your mission is to cultivate and win new business, as well as manage and grow existing key accounts. This role expands our sales bandwidth as we embark on a programme of ambitious growth. The successful candidate will have responsibility for selling marketing services including digital content, sponsored research, digital events, webinars, and bespoke events such as roundtables and dinners. There will also be an expectation of cross-selling into conferences, events, and memberships as part of high-value, cross-platform campaigns. We expect the successful candidate to adopt a consultative and solution-led multi-platform sales approach, working closely with colleagues to achieve the best outcome for the client and the business.
Your profile includes being a dynamic and tenacious salesperson who succeeds by building relationships, is driven to develop new business, and eager to meet contacts face-to-face. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4 years B2B sales experience using a consultative sales approach to sell high-value campaigns
- A proven track record of new business development and a sound understanding of sales processes
- A strong relationship-building ability with experience in growing accounts
- Demonstrated success in meeting challenging targets
There is no requirement for specific degrees or higher education qualifications; however, candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
