Your mission is to work with our event sales director to deliver a mix of both established conferences and launch international conferences for the utilities and sustainability sector. This role aims to expand our sales bandwidth within the event sales team and support our growth into emerging international markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling exhibition stand space and high value sponsorship packages into our range of conferences, with an emphasis on international events. We expect the successful candidate to adopt a consultative and solution-led multi-platform sales approach as needed, working closely with their colleagues to achieve the best outcome for the client and the business.
Your profile includes being a dynamic self-starter with a thirst for new business who enjoys international travel and getting fully immersed in their market to drive the growth of our events. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4 years B2B sales experience using a consultative sales approach to sell high value SPEX packages.
- A proven track record of new business development and a sound understanding of sales processes.
- Demonstrated success in meeting challenging targets.
There is no requirement for specific degrees or higher education qualifications; however, candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
