About Favela Cerveja

Favela is more than a beer brand; we are building a globally recognised lifestyle brand inspired by the energy, culture and spirit of Brazil. Since relaunching in 2023, Favela has produced and sold over 1 million units across the UK and Europe and is now entering an exciting new phase of international growth, with distribution expanding into markets including the UAE and USA. Alongside our commercial growth, we are continuing to invest in the Favela Foundation and building a business that creates meaningful social impact through sport, music and culture.

As the business scales, supply chain excellence and operational capability are becoming increasingly critical to our success. We are now looking for our first dedicated Head of Supply Chain & Operations to work directly alongside the COO and help build the infrastructure required to support the next stage of international growth. This is not a role stepping into an established corporate structure. This is an opportunity to design, build and lead the supply chain and operations function of a fast-growing international business from the ground up.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organised, commercially minded and proactive operational leader who can take ownership of Favela's end-to-end supply chain. You will be responsible for ensuring product is produced, stored, moved and delivered efficiently across multiple international markets whilst building the systems, processes and reporting required to support future scale. This role sits at the centre of the business, working closely with sales, production partners, warehouses, freight providers, distributors and the wider leadership team. The successful candidate will become the first dedicated operations hire within the business and will play a key role in shaping how Favela operates as we continue to expand internationally.

Core Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Management
    • Ensuring the right stock is available in the right place at the right time.
    • Brewery production planning and replenishment
    • Inventory management across multiple warehouses and markets
    • Forecasting and stock availability planning
    • Supplier, brewery and co-packer relationship management
    • Packaging and raw material availability planning
    • Batch allocation and stock rotation
    • Supply continuity and contingency planning
    • Inventory reporting and stock governance
  • Logistics & International Distribution
    • Managing the movement of product throughout the UK and international markets.
    • UK logistics and distribution management
    • International export operations
    • Freight procurement and supplier management
    • Customs documentation and compliance
    • Bonded warehousing and excise management
    • Distributor stock flow management
    • Warehouse partner management
    • Service level performance management
  • Operational Development
    • Building the operational capability required to support scale.
    • Developing and implementing operational processes
    • Building management reporting and KPI dashboards
    • Driving efficiency and cost reduction initiatives
    • Improving inventory visibility and stock accuracy
    • Supporting new market launches
    • Leading operational projects across the business
    • Supporting strategic supply chain planning
    • Establishing operational controls and governance frameworks

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Favela's end-to-end supply chain from production through to customer delivery.
  • Coordinate stock movements between breweries, bonded warehouses, distributors and customers.
  • Manage inventory across all storage locations.
  • Develop demand forecasting and replenishment processes.
  • Manage relationships with breweries, suppliers, warehouses and freight providers.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, bonded warehousing and excise requirements.
  • Build operational reporting systems and KPI dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service levels and reduce costs.
  • Support international expansion into new markets.
  • Work directly alongside the COO to develop and execute operational strategy.

What Success Looks Like After 12 Months

  • Achieved inventory accuracy of 99%+
  • Delivered 98%+ OTIF (On Time In Full) performance
  • Reduced logistics cost per unit through improved planning and procurement
  • Implemented a scalable operational reporting dashboard
  • Documented and standardised all export processes
  • Improved stock visibility across all markets
  • Successfully supported launches into new international territories
  • Established a robust supply chain governance framework
  • Built scalable operational processes capable of supporting future growth

    • Experience within the beer, beverage or wider FMCG sector.
    • Knowledge of bonded warehousing, customs and excise processes.
