Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Safely restrain and handle dogs and cats during procedures.
• Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs (TPR, weight, etc.).
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist in anesthesia monitoring and recovery.
• Perform blood draws and support laboratory diagnostics.
• Maintain treatment areas, equipment, and a clean clinical environment.
• Educate clients on medications, post‑care, and preventive services.
• Support inventory, pharmacy, and general hospital functions.

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary assistant or veterinary technician experience required.
• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred.
• Strong animal handling and restraint skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced veterinary clinic setting.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Team‑oriented, reliable, and detail‑focused.
