Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £55k – £75k DOE

Location: Remote UK (with occasional paid travel to office)

Who we’re looking for:

A skilled, passionate designer to help create a world‑class app experience for our customers. Someone who’s excited about being deep in the craft: owning visual design, user experience, solving knotty problems, and collaborating really closely with a multi‑disciplinary team. Someone who wants to make something remarkable.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll mainly work on our consumer iOS and Android apps. But there will also be the opportunity (and sometimes the need) to confidently work across brand and other product areas in the business too.
  • You’ll partner closely with other teams in the business, and with external agencies and collaborators, to successfully deliver your work.
  • You’ll be hands‑on and lead—or participate in—all aspects of design execution, including idea generation, user research and usability testing, creating wireframes and design prototypes, crafting high‑fidelity, polished UI and visual design, preparing work for developer handoff, observing and drawing insights from data, and conducting QA reviews.
  • You’ll help grow our brand identity and maintain exceptional visual standards across our entire business.
  • You’ll help shape our methods and approach to further our design practices and our team capabilities.

Skills and competencies we’re looking for:

  • Exceptional visual design, layout and typographic skills with a solid understanding of graphic design principles.
  • Passionate and skilled in all aspects of product UI design, including layout, interactions and UI animation.
  • Skilled in designing for the latest iOS and Android operating systems.
  • Driven, ambitious and enjoys autonomy at work.
  • Confident leading, and participating in, all aspects of the design process.
  • Confident articulating their design decisions to department heads and stakeholders.
  • Shares ideas and work early and often, regularly seeks feedback, and is confident in distilling and acting on it.
  • Expert in digital design and prototyping software (we use Figma predominantly with other tools to support).
  • 5+ years agency or in‑house experience in a similar role.

Details & Benefits:

  • Salary: £55k – £75k DOE.
  • The role is full‑time, permanent, 40 hrs per week Monday–Friday.
  • You must be based in the UK.
  • You can work completely remotely or use our central Manchester office when you see fit.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 30 days holiday (+ bank holidays).
  • Company pension.
  • Profit share bonus.
  • £250 annual learning budget.
  • Equipment budget.
  • Monthly gym membership subsidy.
  • Mental Health Programme (Thrive).
  • Quarterly in‑person team socials in Manchester (travel and hotel are paid for).
