About Fathom
Fathom is the global authority in flood risk intelligence, working at the forefront of climate data and analysis. Our data is used by leaders in insurance, engineering, international development, government, capital markets, and NGOs. This is an exciting time to work within the ever-changing, fast-paced climate risk space. We’re looking for a passionate, proactive, and driven digital marketer who can step into an established team and immediately start driving our multi‑channel campaigns forward.
About the Role
We are seeking a confident, proactive Digital Marketing Executive to take ownership of our digital execution and campaign deployment. In this role, you won't just follow instructions, you will take the initiative, manage internal stakeholders with confidence, and proactively drive projects to completion.
You will be the engine room of our campaign execution. Working closely with Vertical Marketing Managers (who lead on persona insights, content ideas, and field marketing), a Content Manager, and PR & Communications Manager to turn high‑level ideas - such as a new thought leadership report - into fully realised, high‑converting multi‑channel campaigns that help Fathom to hit our revenue goals.
Campaign execution & stakeholder management
- Proactively lead campaign delivery: Work collaboratively with Vertical Marketing Managers to scope campaigns, agree on objectives/KPIs, and determine the optimal channel mix.
- End‑to‑end campaign building: Build targeted contact lists, draft and build automated emails and nurture sequences and workflows, and work with the Rev Ops Manager to prepare performance reports.
- Marketing automation: Support Vertical Marketing Managers by building and managing HubSpot workflows to automate event promotions, webinars, and post‑event follow‑ups.
- Sales enablement: Create and maintain Digital Sales Rooms to support the sales team with follow‑ups from webinars and other Fathom events.
Social media & creative content
- Own the LinkedIn channel: Act as the primary manager for our main social channel. Draft, edit, and schedule engaging posts.
- Asset creation: Utilise our existing bank of Canva templates (and your own strong eye for design) to create eye‑catching social creative assets.
- Social analytics: Regularly review performance metrics, identify trends, experiment with new formats, and share insights with the wider team.
- Paid social: Potentially prepare, launch, and manage LinkedIn ad campaigns to drive conversions with support from our digital agency.
Website & agency collaboration
- Website maintenance: Help maintain the Fathom website, ensuring content is up‑to‑date and engaging, as well as technically sound.
- Agency management: Act as a key point of contact for our external digital agency (technical SEO and PPC) to optimise site health, traffic, and paid performance.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in B2B digital marketing, with a proven track record in demand and lead generation.
- Core tech stack proficiency: Strong, hands‑on experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn, and Canva.
- Analytics savvy: Experience using GA4, HubSpot Campaigns, or other analytics tools to track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance.
- Proactive mindset: High autonomy, a self‑starter attitude, and the confidence to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Design eye: A good eye for visual layout and branding, with the ability to swiftly adapt and create assets using Canva.
- Data & process driven: Comfortable working with structured planning templates, building segmented data lists, and maintaining CRM data hygiene.
- A genuine interest in climate science and environmental technology.
Nice to haves
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Experience using Asana.
- Experience working within a SaaS or DaaS (Data‑as‑a‑Service) business.
- Experience in environments with long sales cycles and high‑value product offerings.
- Experience delivering Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns.
