We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Relief Care Assistants to join our warm and welcoming care home team at St Joseph’s Residential Care Home for the elderly and people with dementia. Relief work offers flexibility and is ideal for those who wish to work around other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity
- Assisting with meals and hydration
- Supporting residents’ emotional wellbeing and social engagement
- Administering medication in line with training and procedures (where applicable)
- Maintaining accurate records and following care plans
- Working in line with safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures
