Role Summary: We’re looking for an experienced, commercially minded Marketing leader and seasoned operator to join the leadership team of an international motorsports Brand. Founded by former Ferrari F1 Chief Engineer, Rob Smedley and Ferdi Porsche, this rapidly growing business is revolutionising the talent pathway to professional motorsport, and from its UK and US operations, is expanding into new international markets over the next 12‑24 months. With strong capitalisation and an ambitious growth plan, the successful candidate will lead the delivery of the global and local customer experience end to end and as the business continues to expand play a key role in shaping the future design of the function alongside our Chief Commercial Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Growth Strategy Development and Implementation: Develop and execute a comprehensive, customer‑focused marketing strategy aligned with the three‑year growth plan. Design and execute strategies to attract new customers through paid (e.g., SEM, paid ads) and organic channels (e.g., SEO, social media, partnerships). Develop and oversee initiatives to retain customers across digital platforms and at physical events. Strengthen and unify the Brand, ensuring consistent messaging and creative expression across all channels. Define and launch marketing strategies for new international hubs, events and products.
  • Digital and CRM: Lead the deployment of CRM, introducing automation and conversion frameworks. Embed data analytics and performance marketing to improve ROI. Champion the use of AI and automation tools to drive efficiency and innovation within the marketing team.
  • Campaigns and Activation: Oversee integrated campaigns to drive racing occupancy and brand awareness. Manage external agencies and suppliers to ensure creative excellence and performance accountability.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Build and lead a growth team at our UK HQ, managing talent across marketing and customer experience functions.

Qualifications and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced and commercially minded marketing professional with a proven track record of driving customer‑led growth within fast‑paced, consumer‑facing environments. You will be comfortable operating across multiple sites and international markets, combining strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach to delivery. You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in developing and executing marketing strategies that deliver measurable business growth.
  • Proven success in leading CRM initiatives and digital transformation programmes.
  • Strong campaign planning, management and execution skills, with the ability to deliver impactful results.
  • Experience managing and optimising the performance of creative, social media and digital marketing agencies.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, including budget management, performance analysis and return on investment (ROI) measurement.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decision‑making and drive continuous improvement.
  • A collaborative and transparent leadership style, demonstrating empathy, accountability and the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • A resilient, proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to thrive in a high‑growth, fast‑paced business environment.
  • A solid understanding of modern marketing tools, technologies and best practices, coupled with a test‑and‑learn mindset.
