The Marine Superintendent will provide expert marine operational support and guidance to fleet groups, ensuring full compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.You will play a key role in vessel performance, inspections, incident investigation, and continuous improvement of marine operations, working closely with both onboard and shore-based teams.Required skill set and experience:Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2, unlimited tonnage)Degree in Nautical Science or equivalent experienceSailing experience as a senior officer, ideally with command experienceStrong background within a Marine Superintendent or similar marine operations roleExperience across oil, chemical or gas tanker operationsExtensive knowledge of ISM, ISPS, OCIMF and CDI vetting processesProven experience conducting vessel inspections, audits and ship visitsStrong understanding of marine compliance, safety, and environmental regulationsAbility to support incident investigations and produce detailed reportsCommercial awareness with experience managing budgets and cost controlExcellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to engage with stakeholders across a global, multicultural environmentBenefits:Market-Leading Workplace Pension.Competitive Annual Leave.
