Overview
In this Senior Yacht Manager role, you will provide proactive management support to Owners, Owners’ Representatives, and Captains across an assigned fleet. You’ll ensure maintenance, certification, and regulatory compliance are on track, while delivering work on time and within budget. You’ll lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams, strengthening relationships with stakeholders and maintaining high standards of safety and ISM/ISPS compliance. This is a collaborative opportunity with a leading yacht management company offering regular fleet travel and impact across multiple vessels.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage annual budgets
- Coordinate maintenance and operations with Captains and Engineers
- Oversee dry dockings and vessel certification
- Ensure compliance with class and flag requirements
- Deliver work on time, within budget, and to company standards
- Conduct vessel inspections and visits
Key requirements
- Maritime background with shore-based yacht or vessel management experience
- Onboard experience at Officer or Captain level
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Commercial awareness and sound decision-making
- Confident in leading and supporting small teams
- Knowledge of class, flag, and ISM/ISPS requirements
- Strong organizational and reporting skills
- Proficiency in English and IT systems
