The Role

We are seeking a Full Time & Qualified Lead Dental Nurse for our client to provide chair-side support within the practice & surgeries in Glasgow. You will play an integral role in ensuring excellent patient care whilst complying with Clinical & Health and Safety requirements. You will be an experienced Dental Nurse looking to step into a leadership role!

Responsibilities

  • Creating a welcoming environment for patients
  • Using Software of Excellence (SoE) to ensure accurate patient records
  • Setting up the surgery for each session to practice efficiency
  • Anticipating clinician and patient needs in advance of their session and ensuring necessary lab work & equipment is in place
  • Stock maintenance to ensure appropriate availability levels
  • Reception duties when required including:
  • answering the telephone
  • making appointments
  • collecting patient charges

Requirements

  • GDC registered (Essential)
  • Willing to demonstrate the highest levels of patient care (Essential)
  • The ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team (Essential)
  • Enthusiastic, with an appetite to learn and develop new skills (Essential)
  • Implant experience (Preferred)
  • Experience working in Private / NHS practices (Preferred)
