Civils Operative

Our valued client is looking for a Civils operative, plus a labourer, to join the their team in the West Midlands. As a Civils operative, your core responsibilities will be – * Provide new installation of duct, chambers, and cabinets and associated customer connections. * Clear blockages in the highway and reinstate to industry standard ensuring all information and photos are captured on company supplied assets i.e. phone or tablet * Be competent in the use of Stihl Saws / Wacker plates / trench compactor / jack hammer and hold the correct certification to complete the works * Experience of risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on health and safety requirements and responsibilities * Be fully responsible for the company assets and equipment assigned to you for the purpose of performing your duties * Ensure compliance with all client processes and procedures * Can communicate effectively and professionally with others and work well within a team Required Qualifications: * Full Streetworks Operative; LA, O1 – O5 and O8 * SA006 * K008 Hand Rodding in UG Network * Q13 – Box Building * Q19 – Core Drilling * Q20 – Duct Blockages * Q21 – Duct Laying Required Skills: * Full UK Driving Licence Pay: £300 per day, for skilled operative and labourer, increasing to £350 per day after 6 months. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From £300.00 per day Schedule: * Monday to Friday Licence/Certification: * Driving Licence (preferred)
