The role:
This senior position works closely with Directors, Project Managers, and creative and production teams to identify opportunities, shape strategic roadmaps, and implement initiatives that strengthen client relationships and drive commercial growth.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development, Client Growth and Retention
- Work with Directors and Project Managers to understand client objectives and propose tailored solutions.
- Lead initiatives that increase client engagement and revenue through innovative service offerings.
- Support new business activity and contribute to winning new clients and projects.
- Strategic Service Development
- Develop and implement a roadmap for evolving services in line with client needs and market trends.
- Identify opportunities to integrate existing and emerging technologies into client projects.
- Deliver billable strategic consultancy for clients where required.
- Technical and Market Insight
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant technologies, including AI and machine learning applications, and digital production processes.
- Use Google Analytics and other tools to analyse data, inform strategic decisions, and demonstrate ROI.
- Collaboration and Delivery
- Work closely with production teams to ensure new services are technically viable and aligned with internal capabilities.
- Manage online campaigns where required.
- Collaborate with leadership to set growth targets and performance metrics.
- Performance Monitoring
- Track KPIs including client satisfaction, revenue growth, and adoption of new services.
- Produce regular reports and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in business development, digital strategy, and client services within a UK digital agency or similar environment.
- Strong technical understanding of digital production processes and technologies.
- Experience in online campaign management, including tools such as GTM, Google Analytics, AdWords, and LinkedIn.
- High proficiency in Google Analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced environment.
