We are looking for a creative and experienced Platform Designer to take ownership of Fastn UCL's user interface and experience, as well as oversee creative design projects across our brand. Your role will bridge functionality and aesthetics, creating intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing designs that engage with our users and enhance our brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UI/UX design strategy for Fastn UCL, from conceptualization through execution.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of user-centered design.
- Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to clearly communicate design concepts.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iteratively refine designs.
- Ensure design consistency across Fastn's products and digital assets.
- Create compelling visual assets and creative content for marketing campaigns, website, social media, and brand communications.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in UI/UX and visual design, specifically within SaaS companies. Experience in AI-driven companies is a significant plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing platform UI/UX designs and creative projects.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and usability.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with AI concepts, machine learning products, and orchestration platforms.
- Ability to think creatively, strategically, and analytically to solve complex design challenges.
