The Role
The Regional Metals Recycling Editor, EMEA & APAC, leads and manages a team of price reporters across metals recycling in Europe and Asia, developing and executing the regional strategy and supporting the global strategy.
Principal Accountabilities
- Uphold price integrity and adhere to Fastmarkets\’ price development process.
- Champion IOSCO‑compliant price reporting and LPDA (Launch, Promote, Defend, Attack) approach.
- Coach the team and collaborate with Editorial Operations to improve content quality and value.
- Lead market engagement through meetings, events and insights sharing.
- Manage team coverage, support back‑up system, and coordinate cross‑functional collaboration.
- Support recruitment, talent development, and promote Fastmarkets’ MAGICC values.
Key Interfaces
- Reports to the global editor and collaborates with other editors on price benchmarks and coverage.
- Engages with industry participants to gather feedback and promote price quality.
- Collaborates with Editorial Operations and other leaders to develop and promote prices and content.
Qualifications

- Strong background in pricing markets and metals recycling journalism.
- Full understanding of Fastmarkets’ price benchmarks and high‑pressure benchmark markets.
- Proven leadership, recruitment, training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Experience in market engagement, roadshows, webinars, and external events.
- Budget management, matrix management structure experience, and high‑level stakeholder collaboration.
- Excellent communication, cross‑functional collaboration, adaptability, customer‑centric focus, and innovation.
