Job Description
The Role
The Programme Manager - GTM is responsible for leading and coordinating the end-to-end go-to-market process for new products and commercial initiatives across Fastmarkets.
Working across Product, Commercial, Marketing and Analytics teams, the role ensures products are brought to market efficiently, governance processes are followed, and commercial objectives are achieved.
The role focuses on programme delivery, stakeholder alignment, performance monitoring and continuous improvement of the go-to-market operating model.
- Principal Accountabilities
- Lead the end-to-end GTM programme lifecycle, from opportunity assessment through to launch and post-launch performance review.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product positioning, pricing, packaging, target customer segments and launch activities.
- Facilitate Commercial & Product Squad meetings and product performance reviews.
- Ensure all functions remain aligned on priorities, timelines, deliverables and commercial objectives.
- Programme Delivery & Governance
- Develop and manage programme plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
- Establish and maintain governance processes, decision gates and approval frameworks.
- Manage Go/No-Go approval processes and ensure launch readiness requirements are completed.
- Maintain RAID logs and ensure risks and issues are actively managed and escalated where appropriate.
- Manage programme budgets, forecasts and expenditure across Cap Ex and Op Ex.
- Commercial Performance
- Produce regular programme updates, executive reports and decision papers for senior stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional decision making through data-driven insights and performance analysis.
- Ensure clear accountability for commercial outcomes across Product, Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Change Management & Business Readiness
- Support business readiness activities including communication, training and adoption planning.
- Ensure successful transition of products and initiatives into business-as-usual operations.
- Track benefits realisation and coordinate corrective action where expected outcomes are at risk.
- Drive continuous improvement of GTM processes and ways of working.
- AI & Process Improvement
- Use AI-enabled tools to support programme planning, reporting, risk management and stakeholder communications.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the GTM lifecycle through technology and automation.
- Promote adoption of AI-enhanced working practices where appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

- Significant experience delivering go-to-market programmes within a B2B subscription, Saa S, information services or data-driven business.
- Proven track record managing cross-functional programmes involving Product, Marketing, Commercial and Analytics teams.
- Strong programme management experience, including governance, risk management, stakeholder management and benefits realisation.
- Experience supporting product launches and commercialisation activities from concept through to post-launch review.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret performance metrics and translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing senior leaders.
- Experience using programme management tools and CRM systems such as Jira, Monday. com, Smartsheet, MS Project and Salesforce.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within information services, market intelligence, financial data, price reporting or related subscription-based industries.
- Understanding of subscription business models, customer lifecycle management and revenue operations.
- Professional qualifications such as APM, PRINCE2, MSP, PMI or equivalent.
- Experience using AI tools to support programme delivery and business processes.
