Job Description The Product Marketing Manager at Fastmarkets will play a pivotal role in driving Forest products visibility, acquisition and account extension. This role involves developing go-to-marketing strategies for a Fastmarkets vertical, creating compelling product positioning and messaging. The Product Marketing manager will collaborate closely with the product, editorial and sales team to create product strategies and then with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES Go-to-market strategy Develop go-to-market strategies for existing products and new launches for your vertical. Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product, editorial and marketing to ensure full alignment. Work with sales and product to agree on targets for new customer acquisition and account expansion. Product positioning & messaging Develop captivating value propositions, messages and product collateral to clearly communicate our products’ unique value to our target audiences. Create clear personas for all our ideal customer profiles (ICPs). Work with the Revenue Opps and Insights team to identify our Total Addressable Markets (TAMs). Content development Work with the content team to develop a variety of targeted content, including articles, white papers, case studies, webinars, blog posts, videos to support marketing and sales efforts. Closely align with the sales enablement function, creating and maintaining sales tools, presentations, and collateral for the sales team. Ensure content aligns with the overall product marketing strategy and addresses different stages of the buyer journey. Market research Work closely with editorial and product on market research projects to better understand industry trends and competitors. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, allowing you to stay on top of the market and update your messaging accordingly. Campaign planning & execution Brief your go-to-market strategies into the demand generation teams, providing guidance and input to the campaign plan development. Agree on targets and KPIs for all campaign elements, reviewing results on a regular basis. Product adoption, retention, up-sell Ensure product adoption and account extension is part of the go-to-market strategies for each vertical. Work with demand generation to develop programs delivering against KPIs. Budget management & reporting Own and manage the marketing budget for your vertical, work closely with demand generation and content to assign spend. Regularly report results and activity back to the business, incorporating relevant metrics from the demand generation team.
