This role is a critical operational position designed to optimise, streamline, and future-proof our global benefits administration.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Finance to embed efficient, proportional financial controls across global benefits operations, including budget tracking, cost control, and the accurate and timely review of complex benefits invoices.
  • Strengthen governance and compliance readiness by supporting the development of a global benefits compliance calendar.
  • Use data and insight to improve outcomes, producing clear reporting on benefits operations, highlighting risks and opportunities, and making practical recommendations to enhance employee experience and operational performance.
  • Continuously challenge current methods, stay curious about best practices and new tools, and proactively bring improvement ideas to the role.

Role Attributes

A minimum of two days per week in the office during the probationary period, reducing to one day per week thereafter.

We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to creating a fully inclusive workplace.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

We are looking for a highly motivated, driven individual with a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player and flexible in work arrangements is important.

  • Ability to produce clear, high-quality documentation and training materials that enable others to operate independently.
  • Working knowledge of benefits compliance concepts, ideally across the US, with judgment to know when to seek specialist advice.
  • High level of technical competence, particularly Excel and data handling, with a willingness to learn new tools quickly.

Desirable

  • Hands-on experience with benefits platforms and HR systems.
  • Experience supporting payroll preparation or system integrations where benefits data feeds into payroll.
  • Exposure to US benefits administration and its operational or compliance complexity.
  • Experience supporting vendor invoicing, budget tracking or financial controls within HR, Reward or Benefits operations.
  • Experience with automation, ticketing, self-service or knowledge-management tools.
  • Involvement in change or transformation initiatives, including embedding new processes or systems.

Personal Attributes

  • Proactive and improvement-focused, spotting inefficiencies and taking ownership to fix them.
  • Structured and detail-driven, able to prioritise in a global environment.
  • Clear communicator, able to explain complex topics simply.
  • Collaborative and dependable, effective across teams and partners.
  • Curious and motivated to build expertise and global experience over time.
