We are seeking an experienced Associate HRBP to play a pivotal role in supporting both the day-to-day operations of the business and its broader people agenda. You will partner with managers across a range of HR processes, including employee relations, change, performance, and talent management. Reporting to one of our Heads of HR (Business Partnering), you will take a proactive approach to ensure issues are addressed efficiently, communications are clear, and managers are empowered to support their teams effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist across a range of employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievances
  • Work with managers to design, implement, monitor and where necessary, escalate performance improvement plans (PIP’s)
  • Organise employee relations cases and change projects, drafting correspondence and organising evidence and consultation documents
  • Gather metrics from HRIS, ATS, HR Ops to produce reports and dashboards for Heads of HR, senior managers and SLT members, giving insights based on data to drive value
  • Conduct exit survey and interviews of all leavers and provide regular insights to the team
  • Assist with talent review process
  • Organise and maintain employee relations materials
  • Provide proactive advice and guidance to managers on employee relations issues, helping to prevent potential conflicts and mitigate risks
  • Educate employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and best practices to promote a positive work culture and maintain legal compliance
  • Support our Learning and Development team to deliver training programs and workshops for managers and employees on topics related to conflict resolution, communication skills, and employee relations best practices
  • Identify potential risks and liabilities related to employee relations matters and work to proactively mitigate them
  • Supporting on project activity as appropriate (e.g. onboarding, alignment of people policies, employee surveys, D&I etc.)

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Human resources experience, with a focus on supporting employee relations processes
  • An understanding of employment law, regulations, and best practices in the UK
  • An understanding of international HR practices is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve conflicts
  • Experience working in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee matters with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Understanding of key HR metrics, ability to produce reports (HRIS, Excel)
  • Experience using HR Information Systems (HRIS), HiBob experience advantageous
  • Ability to work methodically through work as well as show initiative to change and process improvement
  • CIPD Level 3 or above preferred
