Fastmarkets is an industry-leading price-reporting agency (PRA) and information provider for global commodities, providing price data, news, analytics and events for the agriculture, forest products, metals and mining and new-generation energy markets. Fastmarkets' data is critical for customers seeking to understand and predict dynamic, sometimes opaque markets, enabling trading and risk management. Fastmarkets is a global business with a history dating back to 1865 and is built on trust and deep market knowledge.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate keen to support companies, investors and policymakers in understanding and securing strategically important raw materials across a wide range of industrial and emerging applications. The role focuses on collecting, analysing and delivering robust cost, supply‑side and economic insights that help clients navigate increasingly complex, volatile and geopolitically sensitive metals and mining markets.

The Analyst will lead the maintenance and development of Fastmarkets’ cost models, overseeing data collection, model refinement and analytical outputs. They will support analytics products and consulting by providing the cost and economic foundations that underpin short‑ and long‑term market outlooks and forecasts, ensuring a coherent view of supply, capacity and cost drivers across key raw material value chains.

The Analyst will also act as a key point of contact for internal and external enquiries related to industry costs, supporting sales engagement and client discussions with clear, defensible and decision‑ready analysis. You will join a global team of researchers dedicated to analysing critical raw materials across multiple industrial and emerging end-use markets, spanning batteries, energy storage and other critical applications. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced, analytical environment, demonstrate a proactive, can‑do attitude and be comfortable supporting a broad range of tasks and projects concurrently.
