Principal Site Reliability Engineer (Hybrid)

Fastmarkets requires an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer with great DevOps and stakeholder management skills. To complement an existing worldwide team, we're looking for someone to help us modernise our Azure cloud platforms to a cloud native, containerised fully automated deployment pipelines. Reporting to the Head of SRE, the correct candidate will have extensive experience in modernising Azure platforms, excel in Infrastructure and code, as well as being comfortable in more traditional DevOps work.

This role will also include helping to form an agile culture, working with stakeholders to understand platform requirements and turning them into a best practice, performant and secure platform. Being a senior role, it is expected you will help mentor and train other team members and help keep the great team morale already in place.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Highly motivated and driven individual with a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team.
• Strong team player who is happy to work flexibly.
• Comfortable in assisting with the whole process of planning, through deployment and testing and support of the platforms.
• Extensive knowledge of Azure Advanced networking such as Azure Traffic Manager, Load balancers, DNS, Firewalls, NSGs, Private endpoints.
• Virtual Machine management, Automation and orchestration, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Bash, PowerShell, SQL Managed Instance, Service fabric, Azure cyber security experience, Team City, Octopus Deploy.
