We’re seeking a strategic and solutions-oriented Business Development professional with a deep understanding of online payment systems. You should be capable of identifying merchant needs, navigating the complexities of global payments, and delivering tailored solutions that drive value for both the client and the business. You need to be detail-oriented and capable of conducting valuable research to find ways to improve the payment experience for potential merchants. You should be able to translate the information gathered from your research into an effective pitch.
As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll work closely with our Business Development Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone aiming to grow into a broader role in business development, sales, or product management within the company.
What You Will Do
- Develop working relationships that turn into revenue, both for the payment partners and FasterPay.
- Present the company to potential partners through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, networking events, and e-mails.
- Generate new FasterPay revenue and cost savings through negotiating with payment partners.
- Represent FasterPay at industry events and trade shows to gain new business leads and contacts.
- Build and manage relationships and processes with payment partners, mobile carriers, and acquiring banks, negotiate payment processing fees, payout terms, integration, contract terms, and more.
- Create and be accountable for all partners' proposals, contracts, and any further documentation with the assistance of the business development team.
Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong understanding of payment systems, fintech products, and various business models.
- Proven ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Ability to engage in confident discussions on technical concepts like APIs and payment integrations.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
