We Are Looking For

The ERP Developer will be responsible for ensuring optimization and best practices across 12 business units with more to come via acquisitions, write well-designed, testable, and efficient code based on specifications, and have full ERP ownership and authority on all ERP aspects for the company.

  • What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)
  • Have full ERP ownership – be responsible, accountable and have the authority on all ERP aspects for the company
  • ERPs include Quantum by Component Control (mainly) cloud and on-premise instances,
  • Dymax, Axiom’s e PDS and Priority are also in the mix
  • Familiarity with Oracle Net Suite & Great Plains a plus
  • Thorough understanding of ERP processes like Source to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report
  • Ensure optimization and best practices across 12 business units with more to come via acquisitions
  • Hands on leader with backend ERP development skills, mentorship and coaching of team toward upskilling all
  • Analyze business requirements to design comprehensive system solutions
  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code based on specifications
  • Integrate ERP software with third-party applications as needed
  • Troubleshoot and debug ERP software issues
  • Assist in the creation of technical documentation for ERP software solutions
  • Perform unit testing of ERP software components before integration
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development of user manuals and training materials
  • Deploy ERP software solutions to production environments
  • Monitor ERP software performance in production and address any issues that arise
  • Stay up-to-date on latest industry trends and best practices
  • Working with Enterprise and business unit leaders, users, product owners and other team members deploy, optimize, maintain, ensure scalability, ERP solutions that provide significant business value
  • Understand the full end-to-end architecture and data flows across the processes to determining opportunities for optimization and prioritization of system enhancements
  • Stay current on technology, best practices and share experience while mentoring and coaching the rest of the team

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills)

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or a related and or 7+ years of proven experience as a software engineer preferred
  • Experience in sharing design approaches both verbally and through documentation. UML (Unified Modeling Language) experience a plus (e. g. sequence, state diagrams)
  • 4+ years in software/web development
  • Strong relational DB experience (e. g. Oracle) with No SQL DB experience (e. g. Mongo DB) a plus
  • Hands on leader with backend ERP development skills, mentorship and coaching of team toward upskilling all
  • Development in . Net core preferred with Java a plus
  • CI / CD and monitoring tools experience preferred (e. g. Microsoft Dev Ops, Ansible, Team City, Jenkins, ELK, Graphana)
  • Agile experience (e. g. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
  • Familiarity with Oracle Net Suite & Great Plains a plus
  • Experience in test automation
