Based from our Ballymena branch, this position combines warehouse operations, customer deliveries, and day-to-day sales support activities in a fast-paced industrial distribution environment. You will be responsible for receiving and organizing inventory, accurately picking and packing customer orders, and delivering products directly to customer locations throughout Northern Ireland. The role also involves maintaining inventory levels, supporting customer site stock management programs, and building strong customer relationships through dependable service and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and committed to providing exceptional customer service. Whether working in the warehouse, on the road, or at a customer site, you will help ensure operational excellence and contribute to the continued success of our customers and our business. RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of this position are service-based and will present new and diverse challenges daily. Duties include, but are not limited to: Providing Customer Service Managing inventory (warehouse) Receiving and shipping inventory Performing deliveries with a company vehicle REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work Possess a current full valid UK driver's license (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed Excellent written and oral communication skills Proficient computer skills Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency Highly motivated and customer service orientated Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork Ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages on a regular basis PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Interest in career advancement Possess or are working towards a degree in Business/Marketing OR have related industry experience and knowledge of the local market ONBOARDING AND TRAINING We invest in our 20,000 team members by providing structured curricula for career advancement through our internal business school, the Fastenal School of Business (FSB).
