Based in the Midlands region, you’ll start your day from home and travel directly to customer sites across the UK. No two days will look the same – and you’ll be the trusted partner making sure our customers’ automation systems run at their best.
What you’ll do
- Troubleshooting and repair in the areas of electronics, mechanics, I/O, drive technology, PLC (Beckhoff/ Siemens), software, and computers on our flexible manufacturing systems - be the expert who supports our customers.
- Maintenance and servicing of flexible manufacturing systems and robot solutions (Fanuc) – keep our technologies running smoothly.
- Modifications, enhancements, and commissioning of flexible manufacturing systems – play an active role in shaping the future of automation.
- Support the installation of new automation equipment.
- Assess complex technical requirements and advise customers on solutions.
Requirements
- Background in service or maintenance.
- Electro-mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Ideally experienced with PLCs (Siemens/Beckhoff), CNC machines, robotics, or automated manufacturing systems.
- Comfortable with software and Windows-based systems.
- Determination, initiative, and a hands-on attitude.
- A full UK driving license.
- High flexibility to travel to customers across the UK & internationally (Mo-Fr).
