Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled/semi-skilled CNC Miller with good skills on Fanuc and Haas controls to join our machining team. You’ll be involved in programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components to exacting standards. Ample training is available for the right individuals with a passion for engineering and the desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set and operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc and Haas controls
- Work from engineering drawings, CAD models and job route cards
- Select appropriate tooling, fixtures and cutting strategies
- Set up first-off components and carry out in-process inspection
- Use measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, gauges and CMM where required
- Machine one-offs, prototypes and small-to-medium batch work to tight tolerances
