The Role
Based in the London Head Office and reporting to the Head of Merchandising and Planning, the Junior Merchandiser supports the Merchandising team with allocations, reporting, and sales analysis across Theory’s DTC business.
Key Responsibilities
- Review replenishment requirements twice weekly for individual stores, ensuring sales potential while keeping stocks below option and capacity limits.
- Input and confirm new seasonal launch allocation plans in the system, update IAQs per store based on performance, and build pre‑season initial orders by gender, category, and style.
- Conduct weekly store visits to understand replenishment needs, gather feedback, and strengthen collaboration with DTC and Logistics teams.
- Produce weekly trade reports and perform weekly/monthly sales reviews to deliver planned sales and profitability at both total and store levels.
- Assist in trading decisions, recommend business actions, and highlight issues with solution proposals.
- Maintain stock levels at optimal levels, coordinate with the planning team to keep core products “never out of stock,” and manage OTB budgets.
- Support promotion planning by providing style‑level information and suggesting discounts for underperforming areas.
- Provide ad‑hoc support to the merchandising team as required.
