Photo Oxford is seeking a new Trustee to serve as Treasurer. The Treasurer will provide strategic financial leadership, monitoring performance and ensuring compliance. They will maintain financial records and prepare and submit accounts to the Charity Commission. With others they will also make payments to suppliers.
Although no previous experience as a charity trustee, or interest in photography, is required, we are looking for candidates with the following skills:
- The ability to communicate well and to offer constructive challenge
- Understanding risk
- The ability to work collaboratively
- A strong commitment to the values and work of Photo Oxford
- The ability to think strategically
- A commitment to creative fundraising in a challenging environment
