The School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Creative Industries is seeking to appoint a 0.5fte Lecturer in Photography. This is a temporary role until 31 July 2027.

The lecturer in Photography, should have experience working as a professional photographer preferably within an advertising/editorial environment. They will also have a degree in photography and/or related subjects and some teaching experience in HE preferably with a professional teaching qualification. They must possess excellent practical skills in using digital workflows in the studio or on location and be able to demonstrate knowledge and interest in a breadth of photographic production processes. With a passion for the subject, you will possess an enthusiasm that inspires confidence and builds rapport with university colleagues working in a cross-disciplinary capacity, and with external, partner institutions.
