Fast Fit Garage Doors are excited to be seeking a skilled and motivated Garage Door Repair and Service Engineer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have experience in the maintenance and repair of garage doors and related systems, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of garage door types, including manual, automatic, roller, and sectional doors.
- Service: Carry out annual inspections on doors to ensure they are compliant and working to the best of their abilities.
- Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Identify faults, diagnose problems, and provide appropriate solutions efficiently.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers by offering expert advice, maintaining a high level of professionalism, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and regulations while working in customers' homes and properties.
- Paperwork: Maintain accurate records of services performed, including job details and parts used.
- Install: Occasional requirement to help the installs teams on an adhoc basis.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in garage door repairs, installation, and servicing.
- Strong technical knowledge of garage door mechanics and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Customer-focused with great communication skills.
- Full UK driving license (or applicable driving license in your location).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
