We have an opportunity for an Assistant Warehouse Manager working alongside our Warehouse Manager at our Fastcar premises near Walsall.
The job role will include:
- Assisting with the organisation and operations of the Warehouse, ensuring efficient working by all our warehouse staff.
- Review stock control and stock taking procedures.
- Dealing with incoming deliveries, checking received goods, stock storage and the recording of any damages or other discrepancies.
- Supervising our packers and trainees as required, ensuring heath&safety and other policies are followed correctly.
- Other warehouse duties as required.
We are located in Bloxwich, near Walsall, West Midlands WS3 2DG and there are good public transport links to the business.
Qualifications
- Previous warehousing/goods inwards experience in a similar role would be a distinct advantage.
