We’re offering a 12-month internship opportunity for a motivated and creative student to join our EMEA Internal Communications team. This role is ideal for someone seeking a placement year as part of their university degree in Communications and looking to gain hands‑on experience in a global organisation. You’ll work closely with the Internal Communications Manager to support strategic campaigns that inform, inspire and engage associates across Europe. From communicating business initiatives and associate storytelling to wellbeing and DEI initiatives, you’ll contribute to projects that shape our culture and drive engagement.
Major Accountabilities
- Assist in creating and editing internal content (emails, intranet posts, video scripts, newsletters).
- Support the creation of associate and business stories for internal platforms.
- Support quarterly campaigns aligned to business pillars: Leadership, Brand & Ambassadors, Purpose & Culture, and Regional Charity & Wellbeing.
- Help coordinate Town Halls and leadership communications, including post‑event reporting.
- Manage logistics and communications for Associate engagement events.
- Source content from Charity, DEI and wellbeing campaigns, known as ‘Life Balance’, to drive engagement and awareness.
- Compile analytics on campaign performance and associate engagement.
- Attend global comms meetings and contribute ideas for regional storytelling.
Requirements for Success
- Currently studying a degree in a relevant subject, for example, Communications, PR, Media.
- Must be able to provide the right to work in the UK.
- Strong writing and editing skills with attention to tone and audience.
- Comfortable using digital tools (e.g. Microsoft 365, Canva, SharePoint).
- Highly organised and proactive.
- Interested in employee engagement, storytelling, and culture‑building.
- Able to work independently and collaborate across time zones.
