We burst onto the scene as the OGs of female‑first activewear back in 1998. Since then we’ve been on a global mission to empower women through fitness and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Social Media Specialist as we continue our mission to empower women through fitness and beyond.

Expectations

  • Act as a guardian for the brand, supporting community engagement across our digital platforms.
  • Manage the day‑to‑day execution of our social channels and store ambassadors.
  • Support the Global Brand Manager to drive mid‑funnel storytelling in our core markets (UK, IRE, US, and ROW).
  • Spend one day a week in the field nurturing relationships and identifying opportunities.

The role you’d play

  • Be a guardian for the brand, ensuring all campaigns represent our brand mission and values.
  • Plan, execute and measure the success of social and community‑led brand campaigns.
  • Support the Brand Manager in coordinating channels and teams to deliver key brand campaigns, launches, and content plans.
  • Manage critical paths from concept to delivery in line with direction from the Brand Manager.
  • Be active within the fitness community, always on the look‑out for ways to connect Sweaty Betty digitally and physically with the sisterhood.
  • Create a network with store ambassadors, meeting regularly in person, capturing content and building relationships.
  • Work alongside the Sweaty Betty Foundation to align on messaging on relevant social channels.
  • Manage social calendars, schedule and write captions, proactively respond to consumer moments.
  • Be the day‑to‑day contact for store ambassadors, briefing and working with them to produce best‑in‑class content.
  • Be culturally aware, creating social‑led content proactively.
  • Work collectively with other brand experts across the team, supporting ad‑hoc projects.
  • Collaborate with other channels to deliver best‑in‑class Social & Digital initiatives that increase brand awareness and impact.
  • Schedule and upload posts across all platforms.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new features of existing platforms and expanding to new platforms.
  • Ensure all social output is on brand and complies with tone, voice and brand guidelines.
  • Create best‑practice guidelines for brand team, influencers, store managers and contributors.
  • Support brand events execution, managing POS, food & beverage, content, talent requirements in line with the Brand team.

About you

  • Proven experience in executing full‑funnel, 360 marketing campaigns in a lifestyle or related industry.
  • Ability to drive brand awareness and consumer engagement across social channels.
  • Experience managing a global social account desired.
  • Expertise in understanding consumer behaviour, category dynamics, and cultural landscapes to create compelling, relevant brand stories.
  • Finger on the pulse of the social landscape.
  • Finger on the pulse of the activewear market and community, knowing who’s culturally relevant and whom we should partner with next.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners, supporting cross‑functional projects.
  • Can‑do attitude, happy to roll sleeves up and get stuck in.
  • Strong ability to analyze performance metrics to optimize marketing efforts and achieve results.
  • Experience building communities both online and in person.
  • Experience in events.
