JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Photostudio Lead to define and evolve Burberry’s in‑house studio function. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for delivering world‑class e‑commerce imagery and creative content at scale across Burberry.com and key third‑party platforms. You will set the vision for studio operations, driving innovation across workflows, technology and content planning while ensuring alignment with the brand’s creative and commercial ambitions. Working across two London studio locations, you will lead a high‑performing team and act as a key partner across Creative, Marketing and Commercial functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Studio Strategy & Operations: Define and deliver the strategic roadmap for the in‑house studio. Lead the evolution of workflows, embedding scalable processes and operating models. Drive the adoption of AI and emerging technologies to future‑proof studio capabilities. Oversee day‑to‑day studio operations, ensuring efficient, uninterrupted production across sites.
- Content Planning & Creative Alignment: Own end‑to‑end planning of e‑commerce and creative content in line with marketing calendars. Partner closely with Creative teams to ensure consistent and elevated brand expression. Balance creative excellence with operational efficiency to deliver content at scale.
- Delivery & Execution: Oversee production of all studio output, ensuring quality, consistency and on‑time delivery. Establish clear governance and ways of working across internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial Management: Own and optimise the studio budget, identifying efficiencies while maintaining best‑in‑class output. Drive resource allocation to support both planned campaigns and reactive business needs.
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach and develop studio leads and specialist teams. Build a future‑ready organisation that can adapt to new technologies and evolving ways of working. Foster a high‑performance, collaborative culture across creative and operational teams.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Proven experience leading a studio, creative production or e‑commerce content function, ideally within fashion or luxury.
- Strong understanding of e‑commerce imagery production and content development.
- Experience in strategic planning, operations and budget management.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
- Strong awareness of industry trends and digital content innovation.
- Confident leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
